Nanuet Public Library is now offering Chromebook laptops and mobile Wi-Fi Hotspots for 1-week loan periods to Nanuet cardholders. The Chromebooks are basic laptop computers with an Internet browser, webcam, speaker, and microphone. The Wi-Fi Hotspots are small, portable devices which give wireless internet service to devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, or a Library Chromebook. Hotspots feature unlimited data plans and can be used to connect multiple devices in the same household.

In addition, Nanuet Public Library is offering one Nintendo Mini NES Classic Edition game system with 30 original games for 1-week loan to Nanuet cardholders.

Only Nanuet Library Cards in good standing will qualify for borrowing a Chromebook, Hotspot, or Nintendo Mini game system. Each device carries with it a $10 fine for every day overdue. Patrons must sign the Chromebook and Hotspot Borrowing Policy and Agreement  or Nintendo Classic Console Borrowing Policy and Agreement before borrowing a device.
